Not sure that moving him up the ground makes sense right now - he would actually have to work harder to make contests there, rather than in the back line where the contests come to him and he needs to work when he's in them. He may be able to run the ball out of defence, but then we still need to get it past half way and into F50. This is where we struggle.
Playing on a wing he should still be able to move into D50 to get the ball and run it out, but he also has the option of being in the middle and getting the ball from other defensive rebounders and running it into the forward line.
