Agreed - if Jolly still has a two-week ban for the incident, he would feel hard done by. I think a likely outcome would be a downgrading from Intentional to Reckless, resulting in 125 points and a 1-week suspension. A grading of intentional is so serious that IMO it is a charge that has to be proven. It's hardly reasonable to suppose that Jolly intended to put a Melbourne player out of action through illegal means, otherwise he would surely have done a much better job than hitting him with his shin.
