Another stroll in the park
Sydney 10.1 15.5 23.7 29.15 (189)
Wagga 0.1 1.2 2.3 3.3 (21)
Only arrived in the 2nd quarter so I didn't bother to jot down the goalkickers but McVeigh, Schneider and Grundy kicked a bagful and if you gave each of the forwards and midfielders a goal each you wouldn't be far off.
McVeigh was outstanding, he dominated the midfield easily and when he went forward he helped himself to a few goals.
At CHF, Grundy was impressive in that he managed to outmanouvre his opponent at the last second to complete the mark. He also offers a good lead.
Schneider, Malceski and Nicks cruised easily between the midfield and the half forward line. Some nice touches from all of them. Powell played at half-forward too, did okay I guess but not a stand out.
Shaw and Ericksen shared the rucking duties and resting at FF. They dominated easily but that's to be expected when their opponents were a good 5 inches or so shorter.
Campbell didn't have much to do all game, but he did give away a 50m penalty that led to a Wagga goal. Saw only a glimpse of Matt Davis, I think he was playing CHB but I hardly caught sight of him after half time.
No Heath James and no Ben Fixter.
You can't take too much out of this, Wagga struggled to get it past halfway when they had it. The young Swans ran hard and played on at every opportunity, and were just too classy.
