The general belief in our household is that Roos is actually on drugs (explains a few things) and didn't appreciate Schaubs speaking out.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
i almost dropped my drink in the 1st qtr when LRT found magic on the lead with his LEFT foot
I thought he had turned the corner then he got pinged for holding the ball and had no idea what to do
he did do some useful things but as others (mainly NMW) have said that he needs to get his timing right when contesting for a spoil. i can think of at least 3 times where he was way off
i also thought mcveigh was busy today and showed some good signs. jude was very good at times especially in the last quarter
Ball didn't play a full game in reserves though - he came off in the 3rd quarter and wasn't used (I don't think) in the 4th Quarter - there was a rumour going around that he might have picked up another niggle but I'm hoping it's just that a rumour.
Nick D, Nic F and Willo were all wandering around before the match started - so I think if Ball didn't get any injury we'll have Willo, Ball and Schauble all in contention next week.
I agree he'll probably get another run in the Reserves - depends I guess if Roos wants to take an extra tall forward / ruckman down to the Saints match.
Willo and Schauble I think will definitely come back in - since Schauble would most likely be on Gehrig unless they get someone else on him.
Is Vogels now a genuine find? The way he turned his player inside out then slotted from the boundary after a bounce was no amateurish stuff. He was also in the right place when Barry and MOL led to the skinny side of the ground, finding himself one out in the marking contest right in front of the sticks. Have we unearthed a smart footballer.

AND HE KICKS STRAIGHT.
Hasn't been coached by us for very long though, just wait a few weeks and we should be able to correct that problem
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

Jude was outstanding in the second part of the final term with his clearances.
McVeigh, agree, also had a decent game though he really should have kicked that goal to settle things in the final term.
Buchanan is doing some decent stuff around the ground but if he can't kick straight forward goals (like the first miss of the afternoon) then he has no long term place in the team. I know that sounds harsh given that Hall and Ablett both had some shockers but Monty has probably been the consistently worst offender over the past month. His two OOBOTFs were tougher shots but also horrible attempts from a senior level player.
Saying that Vogels was great in the final term is stating the bleedin' obvious but I just can't get over how composed he is at this level. One great pack mark, one near miss, and the way he won the ball out on the flank before strolling in to kick his first of the final term was very impressive.
That said, why why why does the team have to make playing football look so difficult for so much of the time? The third quarter aside it was a pretty shaky performance.
Great effort by Vogels in the last quarter especially the run and bounce along the boundary and finished it off with a accurate kick, and at a critical stage of the game where the Swans were looking patchy.
If anyone can tell me what the free was against Micky in the last quarter after getting the better of a marking contest, I would love to know
