I've previously defended Bevan and Buchanan, but after today's efforts I'm looking forward to the return of Davis, Schauble and Williams. Why have they dropped off after decent debuts? Is it a case of persisting while they learn the skills/adjust to a higher level?
LRT was OK today - at least one clanger, but several instances of solid work, including a great delivery to Magic.
McVeigh looks the goods. Unlike last week I didn't see any clangers, and much of his delivery by hand and foot was accurate. He also looked to have time to decide what to do - a rare commodity.
And who did the job on Cooney? I couldn't tell from the TV coverage (worth another thread), but he didn't seem to have a major influence on the game despite his undoubted brilliance.
Dempster and Vogels - we're doing OK with them.
Moore didn't get enough time, but looks good.
