    Team changes?

Five days ago Roos promised there would be significant changes. This article suggests otherwise. I will be disappointed if this is what transpires. I want to see Dempster back plus either Moore or Malceski in the team.

Im with you on this one Liz, Dempster has to come back in, I would like to see Vogels have a run in the back half even at FB

      - have you seen much of Sundqvist in the ressies? he was looking good before the knee injury has he had any impact?

      Cheers

        Same old, same old.

Still don't like this - "Schauble, as a result of match-ups not favouring him".
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Wasn't it stated previously that Gehrig is a fast leading forward?? As is Reiwoldt.

Schauble is not that quick (??) so maybe that was the reason that their was no matchups.

Having said that, who is he best matchup on against the blues, Big Lance?? Fevola would be too quick for him as well. IMHO.

Schuable would probably match up on Whitnall if he moved forward.

Like liz though, I'd like to see guys who do have decent skills brought back - Moore has shown his, and Dempster is probably our best long kick out of defence.

Stop giving the same guys who keep stuffing up numerous chances just because they have more experience!!! This insistence of picking teams on reputation and not form has to stop!!!

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I don't think Gehrig was particularly quick on Saturday - he's just a normal leading forward now that he's older. If Schauble can't play on him, who is he going to play on?

He was quick enough to get away from Leo on more occassions than not.

On a 10 metre lead with a 5 metre head start because Leo was playing so far behind him.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

What a perfect time to put Malceski in.

My Changes if i were in charge would be:

                    In: Malceski, Schauble, Moore, Dempster
                    Out: Vogels/Saddington, Buchanan, Bevan, Schneider

Malceski to work his magic in the FP with Moore having a dig there too.
                    Dempster back to HBF
Schauble to take on Pie Man.

I don't think he outpaced Barry - more outpositioned him, used his strength to keep him out and received good delivery.

I don't think we'll see Moore and Malceski - one is probably the best we can hope for, especially if Davis is ready to come back in.

And I'd be inclined to leave one of BBS brigade in, probably at the expense of Nicks.

Agree with either Saddo or Vogels dropping out - neither seems to have a specific role in the team other than just to drift around the forward line for short periods of the game and then to sit on the bench. One player like that probably makes sense (esp if it is Vogels) but I think Roos needs to make up his mind what Saddo's role in the team really is and then use him there. He's too experienced to be drifting around as a bit part player.

Totally forgot about Nicks. Definately would be first to go before anyone in the group of BBS. Also forgot about Davis's return therefore more likely Jared Moore would get the call up. Schneider would be the one i would reinstate as Bucky is due for reserve time, and Bevan's clangers can hurt the reserves more than us.

                          Therefore

                          In: Moore, Schauble, Davis, Dempster
                          Out: Buchanan, Bevan, Saddington/Vogels, Nicks

However this is all a pointless exercise since Roos has hinted at minimal changes.

He is, but you'd think that after 100+ games he might have worked out what he is good at. He's been tried in virtually all spots on the ground and hasn't really established himself anywhere. I'm not really sure what sort of future he has.
