I'm finding that hard to understand. We make lots of changes to a winning side - changes that quite possibly cost us four points - and make minimal changes after a loss. I hope that the reporter got it wrong.

We need to get back to basics. Pick our best side and keep them if they win - make changes if there are players who are down on form but only after a loss.

I hope Nick Davis isn't brought straight back into the firsts without even a gallop in the reserves. If ever there's a player you'd put money on for a relapse, it's gotta be him. Let him run around in the two's.

As to what other changes are needed, I think Schauble can follow Big Lance around, it'll be interesting to see who gets Fevola (Leo @ FB is robbing Peter to pay Paul). A worry will be who gets Lappin, he's very quick, very cunning, can mark overhead and can play up the ground (Tiger on him would also cost us run, but Nicks isn't up to Lappin IMO).
Also if we go in with 3 ruckmen I think that'd be silly.

I agree. He's either good enough to play at FB every week, or he's not good enough atall. What is the point in giving him 2 weeks in the 2's? Either play him or give him the arse.

We desperately need to free Leo up. It was an experiment to play him on the key forwards which worked for a while, but it's not working any longer. He's a half back-flanker who gives us a lot of run, so bloody well play him there and let Schauble play at FB.

So much for the minimal changes.

Yep Bevan was the 4th one cut and about time too, really needs to go back to Canberra and get some confidence back. Also great to see Malceski get his first game.

Overall good to see Roos make changes in partular dropping Nicks, Schneider and Bevan. If that doesn't put the players on noti e, nothing will. But WHY give Spriggs a game when he can't kick the ball and adds nothing to the team, I much rather have Dempster make in the team.

May be they promised him a certain number of games when they drafted him.

                    Congrats to Nick Malceski.

Spriggs is lucky (how has his reserves form been?)... Saddington is unlucky. How Schneider is going to get some form going by playing games here and there is beyond me. Bevan's ommission is a month overdue.

The only difference I would have in that list was Moore as the other in instead of Spriggs.

Otherwise, that's a pretty fair list.

Good to see Malceski finally get his opportunity too.

Bit of a worry with Schneider and his form - back for one game then out, when only Davis has returned from injury.

                      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Then that would be a joke. You don't promise players games you make them EARN them and as far as I can see Spriggs hasn't done that in any of his senior games.

But then playing Malceski wouldn't be worthwhile. Rather bring in Dempster rather than Moore for reasons owing to team balance

Agreed. Yes his form is poor and yes he should under consideration to be dropped, but how he can build any sort of confidence playing one week in Canberra and kicking a bag full of goals and the next be in the seniors struggling to get near the ball because he is used out of position and on and off the bench, only then to be dropped back to Canberra where he'll kick another bag of goals.

I think he should of been kept in the side in place of Buchanan, just to give him a proper chance up forward to reproduce his Canberra form.

Pleased for Malecksi, glad Bevan gets a wake-up call, wouldn't mind seeing Dempster return. Perhaps Spriggs has been recalled because TD is a fast track and might reward his hard running. It's a tough, slippery surface so players coming back from injury would need to be rotated. There seems to be no set position for Saddington at the minute.

I'd much rather have Schneider in than Spriggs. Hoping that Spriggs does well tho, but exactly how is Schneider meant to find form when he is being thrown about so much, if only they had the same patience they have with him that they had with Bevan or Buchanan.

Either give him a position to own or.... i don't know.
HFF for mine to give us a marking option outside the attacking 50 that isn't BBBH coming way out from where he should be. Put him there and leave him there. If he ends up no good there, trade\delist.
