I was just about to recruit Johncock as my midfield is still struggling for players. Couldn't find anyone else worthwhile to add to the squad though.

Brought Phil Matera back in for Chris Johnson.

I know of that list - but that is only in and out of the overall squad - not on and off the bench which was what I was after.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Have made a late change to the lineup, bringing Cam Mooney into the side for McPharlin who has been forced to make way due to an unsuitable matchup against Wakelin/Presti and the forecast for poor weather in Melb on Sunday.

damnit, I just missed out on swaping Goddard for C. Bolton.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Well, I umm'ed and ahh'ed before making the change and it proved useless - only 4 points from Mooney. What's the bet McPharlin kicks a few goals and scores 15-20.

After a gazillion points from Lucas, you can't complain too much!

              Milburn wasn't bad either!

BTW - if we do this again next season we should restrict it to people who are actually going to bother to participate. Some of the top players left on benches week after week while injured players remain in their side is really annoying.

$20 to play, commissioner does not issue access until they have the money, 16 teams, $250 for first, $50 for second and third gets their money back?

I had a couple of good solid performances last night from Corey and Welsh. Friday nights seems to be my specialty though, lets see how the w/e pans out...

I tried to swap out Goddard but was too late! I had the choice of another beer out the back or fix up my fan footy team, I took the wrong choice it seems

Keep up with that attitude and you wont make the finals. Looks like you can take the boy out of Dapto, but... hang on, you are in Dapto.

I had to leave Akermanis on the bench but brought in Hammil. He probably wont play either but I need an excuse.

Would you rather have another beer and listen to the rest of the album (the newly remastered "starfish" by the church) or fix your team?

True - 47 points from my 2 backs is a pretty good result! But, we'll see tomorrow if it might have been more...

If we do it next year, we set a draft day/night whatever (or maybe 2) up front - if you aren't there...no getting any good players. Simple. Plus we ask that people who plan to register actually make themselves known on here, rather than just reading the thread, and signing up.

Well if I knew what you were looking for I might have known what you would find.

                              I wasn't thinking of you!

I'm more than happy if my opponent has a slight beer brain malfunction!
