Disappointed to lose that quarter by a point, I felt we dominated play for the majority of the term. We got to find a way to stop Neitz, maybe drop one of Ball/Jolly into the back 50.

Yep, stopping him is the answer atm. When he isn't kicking points is LRT playing loose in the back? He might be able to fill the hole. Good to see the other ROK playing well

Leo Barry has to stop playing on big, big forwards.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Schneider in defence is one interesting move for Roos to make, hasn't been too bad so far either.

LRT drifting forward, taking marks and kicking for goal. Schneider playing in defence and doing well (although he was lucky to not get pinged for legging Davey). Feels like I'm watching the Twilight Zone.

LRT is playing on Holland, who seems to have a worse kick for goal than LRT.

Doesn't seem like we have rotated our bench much. Malceski on for a few little spells, and I haven't spotted Dempster at all.

I wonder how White will fare late in the 4th quarter. I can't understand the reason for playing him as the only ruckman. Surely Johnson and Jamar aren't that bad? I can't think of any other team which doesn't have at least 2 ruckman in the match day squad. Then again, they used to do the same to Jolly who has shown he can play.

Did anyone hear the umpire swear after he bounced the ball and realised it was coming right over where he was backing out. I thought that was hilarious.

                        Some quick thoughts:

Pleasing first half. Cant remember the last time we kicked 6 or more goals in the 1st quarter.

Buchanan good again in the midfield, ROK very good, Hall good in 1st quarter but unable to mark in 2nd, Jolly good in 1st quarter and our ruck is killing theirs. Goodes very good. Our defernce looks a bit vulnerable, our midfield very good.

Dunno what Roos is thinking taking LRT into our fwd line (FFS - his two misses for goal were dreadful) and Schneider in defence.

Umpiring is OK - balanced and consistent, maybe even favouring Sydney.

Pity they came back and kicked 2 in the 2nd quarter. Am nervous.

Really enjoyed that quarter, reminiscent of the Cats 2nd quarter where we dominated the clearances. ROK working his socks off, Buchanan tough and very good defensively and Fosdike did some nice things.

Great 3rd quarter. Hall marking and kicking goals. Our ruck is killing theirs and our midfield completely dominant. Nietz our biggest concern. Looking at crowd it looks like Swans supporters outnumber Demons supporters?

Great win, nice to see Sydney steady when Melbourne got close a couple of times, and BBBBH 7 goals!!!!!!
Given the other results a very vital 4 points for Sydney
