Ah yes... that was actually pretty funny in hindsight But at least he had a shot instead of trying to do something fancy with it. Still not too bad for a kid.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Lets hope this obsession with calling him "little" Schneider passes. It is becoming derogatory, and as stated, he's not little. Would you want to pick a fight with him? I don't think so.

Kenelly is truly exciting, and will be invaluable, but Schneider has a different role, and I believe he will acquit himself well in all games.

Number 36 has all the tricks!!
Not convinced he is an in and under player yet. Seems to be the natural crumber alah Kevin Bartlett. Have spotted him in the last 2 games not going for a couple of contests he should have. Took "little" steps and waited for someone else to come in to do the hard work to get of the handpass to him.

If he is a crumber then that is fine, as his disposal is impeccable, but hopefully he develops a bit of mongrel just to top him off as a complete footballer.

I think he realised that if he went any further that there was a good chance he would be pinged for going too far. Look at the positive out of it that he had the awareness that he wanted to take a couple more steps before the shot, but didn't want to give the umps a chance to blow their whistles.

I know this is hypothetical, but what would you be saying if he had been pinged for going too far instead of bouncing....

I've decide to name him "Chief" after Roy Schneider's character in JAWS - did Roy Schneider play 'Popeye' Doyle in The French Connection?
No - that was Gene Hackman, Roy played his offsider. Classic!...just like Adam's game last night.

I wonder how RL fans would like it is Nathan Hindmarsh was called "Matthew" on the news.

Cressa has kicked em when it counts. Adam will be a gun in the future. He wil slot in nicely to either a midfield role in 3 years time or a crumbing forward till then

Always? I can think of at least three critical occasions when he has slotted them, when it's hard to imagine more pressure. Schneider just looks a lot better when kicking at goals.

Deserves rising star nomination, love his balance and long kicking, that tank body will fill out a gem - hopefully he can develop into a fat arsed centreman/ ball getting machine - but lets not put much pressure on.

Not bad, I've got one too - my girlfriend calls him "Schneider-man" 'cos he's everywhere and sounds the same as... Look out, here comes the Schneider-man!

Shows a lot of promise and may be an early favourite for the #14 of RJS and PK - yes, a long way to go, but also fits the mould of small, skillful left footer.

                          LOVE "The Schneiderman"

                          Surely one word n'est pas?

My favourite moment was when he ran past a player who had just marked (Ball, I Think) on the fify and he was waving his arms DEMANDING the ball. Yes, yes, yes. Got the give and slotted a beauty.

Powell's has got the same self belief IMHO.

He has to be the Rising Star nominee for Rd 5.

Speaking of Rising Stars, how about Brennan's one handed mark over the pack? Mmmm. Only his second game but the Brisbane fans give him an ovation every time he receives the ball at half back flank and actually uses two hands!

This was my favourite goal of the game. It showed that he was thinking, saw an opening and wanted to act.

LOL. Now we're doing filmography trivia here. I reckon Gene would have looked good in a Swans guernsey (around 30 years ago).

I like his attitude. How pumped was he when he nailed that goal on the 50!?!!? That kind of enthusiasm is infectous and he obviously doesn't give a rats arse that he is only 18 and playing in his first season.

Brennan - Look forward to seeing him play here. Just hope he doesn't take too many of those one handers.
