Interesting looking at LRT's stats. He has played 16 games (missed Ade).

His number of possesions/marks doesn't change a great deal. but the two differences I noticed are as follows:

In the first 9 games he had 8 tackles for 5 wins and 4 losses.
Also 5 Frees For and 12 against. Diff of -7.

In the next 7 games he had 19 Tackles for 6 wins and 1 (very narrow) loss.
Also 8 Frees For and 8 against. Diff of 0

It appears he is playing a more disciplined game, now. Maybe we are onto a good thing after all.

Never doubted his application. But tackling does not a player make. Just ask Paul Bevan.

No, but the one "Rugby style" tackle he laid on Sunday, certainly made ppl take note.

Bevan was the tacklee more often than the tackler this year, me thinks.

i was stoked that LRT had a great game, but still had a couple of minor heart attacks, but thankfully, he gave me no real reason too last sunday!

as my grandpa said, always give credit where it is due, so on this point, LRT had a bloody good game last week, lets hope it continues!

          cheers

LRT was on Cox when Cox kicked his fourth, BTW...he gave away the free in front of the sticks.

Not that it really mattered as Lynch had just taken (yet another)mark on Barry who was hopelessly outplayed (AGAIN) by a big bodied opponet.

I think Barry should have been paid a free for being pushed in the back well before the ball arrived at the contest. All of us right behind it in the Noble Stand started abusing the umpire.

We sit in the Bradman and I wasn't sure about that one, LRT cetainly shunted Cox out of the way over the goal line, but he didn't manhandle him. In fact the only sort of umpire who would have paid it as a free is the officious sort who pays a free rather than a mark (arguments of previousness notwithstanding).
