The reason I claimed misuse of Latin and awarded the 50m penalty was that I wasn't trying to prove or disprove anything. I was rather attempting to illustrate how unlikely I thought Adelaide and West Coast both losing in week one was by saying it was less likely than something impossible (ie us finishing 5th). No attempt at logical argument, simply use of hyperbole to accentuate my position ("IMHO"). I was trying for something a little more interesting than a threat to eat my own faeces or appear in public unclothed.

Don't think we qualify as a long shot anymore. Agreed that Crows & WCE deserve favouritism but we're clearly next best.

Fact is that, as many have suspected all season, this is a "transition" season with no stand-out premiership candidate - with our current squad, injury list, form, etc we are not likely to get a better chance to win a flag than this for some time.

Every reason to get exicted RWOers - this might just be it....
