I would say that the 'push' from outside the club would be no greater for Hall than for Kirk or Goodes to be permanent captain. I would love to see BBBH get the nod for captain but I wonder why Roosy singled him out in this statment.

I don't agree. It's often claimed on BigFooty that the Sydney bandwagonners only know Hall's name - and none of the others. But I think that's true of most footy people around Australia - they stopped watching the Swans when told they were boring and would be hard pressed to name more than 3-4 on the team. (The only fans that give the Swans credit are the ones that we've most recently beaten.) And even the Tele forgot Goodes is in our leadership group last week! So, just as Collingwood would be Buckley except for Eddie's PR efforts, for most of Australia, Sydney is BBB. I think that may even work against him when management has to decide.

On the other hand, I've been hoping it'd be Brett or Adam. But after last week's gesture, I'm in mid air as I jump on the BBB bandwagon.

Goodes, Hall or Kirk have all put in decent auditions' so I think it should go to whichever of them plays the best in the finals. If you win a Norm you get the "c" after your name.
