I cant find any info on the famiy ticket because it's not on sale yet. But would you be able to get a family ticket just for 2 adults without any children?

Be patient. Tickets for Swans supporters go on sale in 40 minutes by the time of typing this.
This is just a QF not a PF, so one ticket per member doesn't apply here as per AFL web site, although in Perth it could be a sell-out so buy it ASAP.

ok here's some info for perth people buying tickets
obviously the tickets go on sale in just over half an hr

i just rang the sydney office and they said you dont need a barcode as ticketmaster dont have them as opposed to ticketek which needs them so all we need is the member number. when you pick up tickets you just need to give them the number thats all

        easy peasy japaneasy!

and apparently sydney members have 2000 tickets allocated to them and if not sold will go to the public 4 sale on wednesday

So pretty much all us Sydney members who want to go to the game will get a ticket? I can't see more than 2000 Sydney supporters being over here for the game. I'll try getting a family ticket so the wife can come too. Hopefully that will work.

well thats what i heard on the news this morning so i hope its true

i think if u ring up u can ask where these tickets are allocated and hopefully sit together with other swannies, however i'm probably gonna book via the web so if anyone knows the block number/s it'll be appreciated

Got my 4 tickets (including yours Go Swannies!) - half forward flank in the ANZ Stand (section 332). Meant to show your members cards at the gate which might be problematic due to certain gender mismatches - but hopefully gate attendant won't give a freak.

Went downstairs to the ticketmaster office next door!

Two other people in queue, one of whom followed the dark side.

The Swans office in Melbourne said you don't have to show the actual cards if you purchase tickets over the phone or internet. Barcode numbers are sufficient.

well on the phone just follow the prompts and there is a sydney members option. one is for vic based members and the other is non vic. they didnt ask for anything at all, they just state that the appropriate card be shown when picking up the tickets

when i called the swans membership dept this morning they said the membership number is sufficient when picking up the tickets and the card isnt even needed. plus the barcode is irrelevent and doesnt need to be used as it is a ticketmaster event and not ticketek

Too right, just being there is what it's all about.

The other option I had was to sit right on the fence on the SE 50m line. I figured the view from there wouldn't be all that great.

just on friday night, i read on the swans site that there would be a pre and after match at the irish club if there was a friday night game. can anyone confirm this?

should be a good turnout if its on the cards
