    I think its time for a group hug!! {TEAR}

    Before the first round, I thought we would top the ladder this year and win the flag. But I have often been accused of "blind" optimism.

    Then after the 2-4 start I was talking up 2003 and how we finished 4th, so I was still confident of a top 4 finish and a real crack.

    After we started winning again post round 10, I upped my expectations to a top 2 finish, although conceded that WC would still come first (oops). It all came down to the Adelaide game in the end.

    All in all I am pretty happy with third, and naturally tipping us for the flag. For now the optimism is not so "blind" and I am so thrilled to see all of this positive thinking!!

      The Richmond game was also very costly. We should not have let that one get away.

        The team needed that loss. Showed them that playing crap footy will result in a loss no matter who the opposition.

        That's why I'm glad that we're playing at Subi this week. There is no way the Swans will be thinking that we can play the half-hearted efforts we've put in the past three weeks and think we even have a chance. So we'll go in pumped (think AAMI 2003).

        And the Eagles are vulnerable and we've beaten them recently.

        If we play the brilliant, hard, accountable, super-fast footy we played when we beat them at the SCG then we can dampen their midfield and allow our forwards to shine.

          You did keep the faith Schneiderman and defended Roos and the team to the end. Good on you, it's good to see that some people never lose faith, no matter how poorly we play.

            Im standing in line right behind you, though I did make a redeeming statement around the same time on how well LRT was developing.

              You can't have it, Carlton's already got it.

                    I thought we had really lost the plot under Roos.

                    If we don't win a premiership in the next 2 years I still do.
