Sports Tonight just showed a bit of Roosy's press conference.

He said he wasn't going to say anything about the umpires, but was wondering where the guy from the AFL was, and thought they must want more money.

I am pissed off. Screwed in the ass so many times. The soft frees paid to the opposition are irritating, the obvious missed frees to us are annoying, but it's the frees paid when they pull rules OUT OF THEIR ARSE that really make me fume! @#$!$

Haven't seen the game, but just saw the highlights on Sports Tonight and showed Leo getting pinged for a supposed shepard off the ball.
What ever drugs McLaren took from his dispensary he must have distributed the among the umps.

Just in case there is some editing overnight:

... some dubious umpiring decisions helped the home side snatch victory with five goals to two in the final term.

The Eagles kicked three goals for the night from free-kicks, the most dubious definitely being a highly technical free-kick to Tyson Stenglein for shepherding against Leo Barry at the 13 minute mark of the final term.

The resultant goal cut the margin to two points but yet after the Eagles had snatched the lead, a far more blatant free-kick to Sydney's Adam Goodes, who was clearly grabbed by the leg by David Wirrpunda, was not paid just 30 metres from the Swans' goal.

I exploded when Goodes didnt receive that free. I really embarassed myself. Poor little granny next door was probably petrified. Suprised the cops didnt turn up looking to extinguish a domestic.

is there an official place to register your disgust? I think all 3 umpires should be under investigation after tonight. Especially ignoring the Goodes free. The replay shows the ump had a clear view, yet he calls play on.

I know it has already been said - but i'll throw my two bobs worth in too - the umpiring was absolutely disgraceful. Our boys worked hard and to have it taken away by three uneducated morons is absolutely heartbreaking. Somebody has to make the umpires accountable...I mean, if I was working with that high an error rate in my job I would be sacked. I realise that we could have won the game had Goodesy or Tadgh kicked those goals but it doesn't help when the eagles are getting so many goals from frees. I have lost total faith in the game that I have loved my whole life...

I'm not one who usually complains about the umps and cries foul, but tonight I will.

I can't remember a more important game that was ruined by those who are there to make the game fair for all.

For F$%K Sake what do we need to do???????

Just got home from Sydney where I watched the game. Am white with fury about the umpiring. How could they give Steinglen that free and then ignore the the legged on Goodes. ****ing ****arse ****s! Am glad to read on here that everyone else feels the same way.

If we meet West Coast in the GF, we'll beat them. REVENGE!
