Surely bon's commitment to her schooling was made obvious well before now?

Big queues at a couple of the Ticketeks around the place. Glad I wasn't the one who opted to go get them!

Now if only all the Sydney folk can just ask for their own, regular seats.

Seriously doubt it. Even the pricing structure is all different from normal, so the AFL will put us anywhere.

Yep, but you can still ask for Bay/Seat numbers I assume.

I just got mine - about 5 seats away from where I normally sit in the O'Reilly. Helps that there is a Fish Records just around the corner from me, with a ticketet agency not many seem to know that much about.

Also very glad they were checking membership cards - last year they didn't, though granted it didn't matter so much.

sigh - well I've just about worn my redial button out.. But still no luck.

To think, at this very moment, my treasured row Y seat in the O'Reilly stand might be being bought by someone other than me!!!! Argh!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Really p....ed off. I was first in the queue at a small outlet in Richmond (Melbourne) and got sold crap seats at the back of the Brewongle for $70! I wanted the O'Reilly but she said she couldn't bring it up. My husband has gone back in a rage. Also she didn't ask for memberships. Hope everything going wrong already isn't a bad omen.

Titcketek purchases are a really bad system. I too was first in line in 2003 for Preliminary Final against Brisbane and dreadful seats. Fumed for a day rang the club then rang Ticketek administration Number. Had slept out all night - boy was a fired up cranky lady and I told everyone.
Boy did I complain ridiculous - no card checking as well - they ended up selling me tickets that were being kept back for NON MEMBERS. Unbelievable mess they are. What tickets you get depends on how clever the ticketek person is.

So after that bit the bullet and bought Redback membership - a phone call to the club this morning was much easier - and I keep my job.
                        Ticketek is dreadful.

Make sure you phone the club in Melbourne and phone Admin office today.

i got the tickets i wanted thanks to the people in the queue around me with spare membership cards (wtf?). oh, and a red credit card that flashed quickly enough in a bunch of genuine ones did the trick for one more. i'm gonna burn for that one i'm sure.

at my fish records, they announced that they would only serve on a "next best available" basis and couldn't even accommodate my request for an aisle seat (one of my guests is generously proportioned). i was quite happy about that afterall as i was a little back in the queue and in past years some people have wasted so much time trying to maximise their seating.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

As at 9.25 there were zero seats available in Brewongle sections 1-5, only 6,7 and 8 up the back. I was amazed at how many swans members there are out Penrith way. But the queue out here was full of dithering old ladieswho took eons to choose their tickets. Lots of fans were stressing because they couldn't get their normal seats. I ended up in Churchill section 4, not too bad.
Apparently the line at Castle Hill was huge.

Managed to get tickets in the Brewongle where we normally sit - one isle to our right. Happy with that. Better than at Telstra for seating choice in final series.

My dad picked his up at Castle Hill and said the line was "longer than goal to goal at Subi".
