Never. We were never more than 4 goals down, but I did remark to the lady beside me at the 23min mark with still 9pts to go that "we had not enough time". I suppose that's a concession.

I've been to 120+ games, and never once left a game early, but it was so close tonight... If Nicky D hadn't booted that sensational goal right in front of our seats in the Churchill Stand, I would be currently (a) in very big trouble with the MRS, and (b) cursing myself for missing that comeback.

      .
Im ashamed to admit but I packed my bag after that goal but said stuff it ill give em another 5 minutes and then Im off.
I swear the thought of leaving early will never cross my mind again

yeah i switched it off when G Ablett took the mark, thought he would slot it for sure. came back a few minutes later and was very surprised that he didnt convert.

But yeah the C Bolton miss hurt the most, at that point I conceded that it wasnt our night

How many times did we kick out on the full, how many clangers (a record?) how many behinds.

Did we set records for winning a finals match versus negative statistics?

I always believed we could still win, but I was doubtful given the clanger count...surprisingly the family sitting next to us, Swans members, had had enough with 10 minutes to go and got up and left...
Although it was tempting to try and beat the traffic, there was always that feeling that we COULD do it...so it never really crossed our mind to leave...
            It was amazing...strangers hi5ing, hugging...delerium!!!!!
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Well we were toying with idea of a loss at half time - then when 3/4 time came I said to the girls, "well just think of the money we will save not going to Melbourne" - well there you go we were WRONG!!!!! Although I rang my Mum this morning and (being a god botherer that she is) said that she prayed so hard that she was going to hold God totaly responsible if we lost.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

3/4 time, i was saying well it's only 3 goals and we were in front. David Johnson's goal had me really worried, but he got it very early in the last so i hadn't completely given up on the game then.
The bit which got me down was then the Cats player marked in our forwad 50 when the clock was at about 28 minutes. I honestly didn't think we had enough time to win the game, but...WE ********ING DID!

Thought the game was in trouble as soon as I realised Goldspink was the umpire.

Having remained positive to the end that we COULD win, but getting very nervous around the 29 min mark, I was half expecting Goldsphincter to pull a Cats free from his bum and let them off the hook...

Definitely when Geelong kicked the first of the last quarter. But midway through the 3rd I was preparing for a loss.
