Oh, RWO will be white hot Sun/Mon/Tue. You have been warned...
Agree ROK. I will be getting my own Queue ticket, have Premiership Club, am guaranteed a ticket, so only have to turn up at Lindsay Hasset Reserve at designated time. I will get there in the wee hours and it will be worth the wait.

I will delerious if we win Friday so the adrenalin will be flowing and I don't care how long I have to queue.

The instructions are clear and make sense.

I rang the Melbourne office today. They said there would be 2 queues - one for premiership club and bloods members and one for GF preference members. They expected the latter to be much longer. As a premiership club member I don't know whether it is worth going early to get a queue number as we are assured a seat anyway. Are there any other Melbourne premiership members who intend to line up?

Spoke to a Crows mate of mine today. They've already had a ballot for their "pref" level of membership. Had to ring a number to register earlier on this week and they get drawn out of a hat from there.

Sounds like the Saints have done something similar. Interesting that Swans have done something quite different.

If we lose I am going to blame this thread and everyone in it.

Ye football gods will hate you for this thread, I find it very distrubing

It's called planning ahead. Try organising this @ 11pm on Friday night.

Pffft. SMS was invented by phone companies to sucker teenagers in to spending more money on the phones.

I would still like to see this organised by SMS @ 11 pm Fri.

So who in melb(with GF Pref) is going to join me at Lyndsey Hasset straight after the game if we win?

Maybe we could do exactly the same pooling or even shift work,i don't care.I'm happy to sit there for a few hours celebrating, sitting on a slab of beer and drinking it through the night

Do you people think we're Saint Kilda?

And that doesn't include PMs, SMS, emails and telephone call. Oh, plus visits to homes to drop off bar codes, etc.

They better win the bloody game on Friday after this much planning.

Got a letter today, all we have to do in the Cheer Squad is call or email the Melbourne Office by midday.

I emailed them on Sunday night and got my tickets today, without little effort.

Itd beyond me why guaranteed ticket holders need a queue ticket at all.

Well, it lets you get access to merely lousy seats instead of pathetically awful seats

I actually can't see the point in the queue ticket AT ALL!

If you're going to make people queue up for hours, why not let them buy the tickets there and then too, instead of making them come right back 24 hours later!

It'd be different if, for example, they started issuing the queue tickets 30min after the game.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
