Doesn't look like we're in for a footy skillsfest. Team that kicks straightest wins.

Rain was forecast for today and it hasn't rained yet, so maybe the same will happen on Friday.

            Hope so.

Both teams will be suffering the wet, should it rain, so..?

Sounds like it is going to be very similar to last yrs final against the saints.

I'm agonizing over whether to get tickets and flights at the moment and one of the things that is making me dither is the prospect of rotten weather.

Should I take life by the scruff of the throat and go and hang the cost or should I be snug and warm in my lounge and use the $500 for something such as paying the rates????? Ahhh help me decision making gods.

If it's to be a Swans premiership year I'd expect fire and pestilence, too.

To help me decide I asked myself how often does my football team play in a preliminary final. The answer (3rd time in 25+ years) helped me decide. So long as going doesnt result in your eviction, GO! It could be a long wait until the next PF.

Absolutely. A full MCG, Grand Final berth on the line, It doesnt get any better.

Its very hit and miss at this stage - a large cold front will be pushing through the state on Friday, with a upper low forming over the Alpine areas. If the circulation stays as forecast, parts of southern Victoria might stay dry as the dryier air wraps in over Melbourne, while the moist, onshore winds will favour the ranges and NSW south and central coasts.

But very early to call 4 days away...
