OK guys... WE ARE THERE!!! HELL YES!!!!!!! But.... What do you think about the Barry Hall incident? Will he get off? It doesnt look to promising, and the AFL dont take it easy on players going into a grand final, Anthony Rocca is proof of that. Personally I think he will get to play next week andn will get off with a warning, because it has been over 3 years since he was last suspended.

To me, this is a reason why Bazza should NOT be captain. Even if Maguire made it look more than it was, there was no need for it (Bazza could have cleaned him up another way, with a good hip and shoulder or a thumping tackle) and it putss an enormous cloud over the team preparation for the most important game of the year.
IF Bazza goes, maybe Schauble at CHF...can we bring plugger out of retirement for one game!
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."
We should not play up this incident. The Dunkley incident unsettled the team back in 1996. Playing this incident up will benefit the opposition more than us. Let us keep this down. We cant decide which way the decision would go anyway.
I think he's visited the tribunal twice since the gouging incident. His honesty, and experience as a pugilist has been his greatest defense ie, "If I'd really wanted to hit them they'd be carried off on a stretcher!" therefore-intent is nullified (or some such legal mumbo-jumbo).
Big time lawyers will be involved in this one. Biomechanists too. No doubt more vision will surface. I'm tipping a high court injuction.

McGuire had a bad attack of gastro for a few minutes there. I've had it - it can be debilitating. Let's hope and pray Hall won't get it from touching him.

He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
