i just read the herald sun article. WHat a load of tripe. This appeared in the herald sun just a few hours after the game. This is definetly going to be a trial by media.

Yeah - this is woeful! Its going to be hard for the tribunal to stay impartial given that their has been similar incidents where players have been found guility (Gehrig) and others who havent even been cited.

In recall Matthew Lloyd did a similar thing midway through the year. If Hall is suspended, the tribunal has offically gorne imo. How Richutto can break a guys jaw and get a week for it, and Barry Hall can give a love tap to a player and get the equivalent is silly.

Also it seems stupid that this matter might not be resolved until Tuesday??

As for the article - its nearly the worst piece of sporting journalism I have ever read. If this were a post on the sensational board, I would understand. Clearly the writer is a frustrated saint support, who has nothing but vigour in his late night/early moring musings. Disgraceful effort.

Scott Gullan...im not sure who he supports but he is a tipster for the Sun, and often tips against the swans. Don't underestimate the influence that the media can have on this incident....
