Not sure if this true or bull********, but if it is makes a even bigger farce of the tribunal
Not a lot of love over there at saintsational.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Is it possible that if BBBH is found guilty, that the Swans will just appeal and reappeal to higher panels to get the whole thing stuck in bogged in legals ala '96 or has the AFL shut down that loophole.
Interestingly Mike Sheean said earlier in the year that the current tribunal setup would cost a team a grand final and the AFL will end up in court over such a case (i think it was in reference to the kosi case and inconsistency).
Maybe he was correct...
Also I don't see why the situation can't be dealt with now....especially given its a Friday - with Brownlow on Monday night.
The umpires should review the game the following morning of the night game and then the procedures should be put in place. I imagine that BBBH isn't sleeping atm.

No - that avenue was meant to be closed after it happened in '96.

Just saw Blighty on Ch10 during the half time of Eagles vs Crows game that it's nothing, because you can't see the contact. He thought that Maguire was milking for a free kick!
Channel 10 just played a number of incidents from the year, and there were a couple that seemed more deliberate and foreful than the one from last night and they weren't even cited.
But then a couple from seasons beginning, where players got a couple of weeks.

I have always had the greatest respect for Blight and this confirms it. Carey made similar comments this morning on Fox Footy as well. Two scholars and gentlemen. I have always held that they are extremely astute observers of the game.
I think "who knows' is the most apt comment - we cannot possibly calculate any probability of Hall going out as who knows what the tribunal could come up with.

Except when they disagree with you...
