Hmm, you're not Barry's father are you? That's exactly what Mr Hall snr said today. I'm still confident Maguire will testify in Barry's favour, regardless of whether he was actually faking or not. Its whether the tribunal accepts this that is the biggest worry.

      CONDUCT: Negligent
      CONTACT: Body
      IMPACT: Low
      LOCATION: Behind play
      ACTIVATION POINTS = 5
      LEVEL 1 STRIKING CHARGE = 125 points
      DISCOUNT: 25% for early plea = 93.75
VERDICT: Hall would not be suspended but would carry the points for 12 months.

      Best case scenario....let's all hope.

That said I think we have enough to win without him given our multiple forward options and their lack of clear defenders. There is no scarlett to woory about, etc.

Yeah but, I feel for him and his mates. I'm going to have a great time win lose or draw. Whether we win lose or draw and he is in the stands he will have one of the ********iest days of his life. After all the work he has done to control his anger, to be rubbed out for a GF for something as minor as that would be cruel.

I hope they ask Maguire how he was feeling at the 11 minute 17 seconds mark of the game. If you've got the game on tape have a look. Dal Santo 'spoils' BBB's mark in the goalsquare. Maguire was totally stuffed and clearly in some form of distress at that stage which was before the Claytons tummy tap.

I think that after incident Maguire looks up and around to his left...in direction of play toward umpire...

Does the tribunal look at the both players actions after the event or just the event itself?

Also - any word from Maguir?

As King got off for that round house kickboxing manourve then it will be a discrace if Hall even gets cited.

This is the best-case scenario from The Age.

They may not have Scarlett but Glass has smashed Hall the past few times.

Yeah - noticed the same thing and also in another pack situation. Maguire was completely non match fit - I'm amazed he was selected.

As both were going for the ball as it was coming down the field, it seems to be the expert view that it in play. And possibly the blow was to the arm not body.

Conduct is the type of charge. It can be negligent, accidental, reckless, intentional etc. It grades light to heavy. Neglegent being the lightest.

Activation points is the number of factors added together.

                        (just guessing here)

heavy impact over light impact would warrant more activation points. 5 activation points means it must go to the tribunal with 125 points.

I have just re inacted the incident and realised that it would have been very hard for Barry to have hit Macguires torso, we did it 5 times and each time it was only my son's arm that I hit forcefully.

Macguire is a dog if he doesn't testify that he didn't play for the free.

I keep doing it to people I walk past in the street, and so far it's only 70 year old women who actually fall over and struggle to get back up...
