I was just thinking Matt Maguire looks amazing for 70 - but not a very attractive woman.

We have tried it again after watching Sports Tonight and I may take back my earlier comment. When we reinacted it again, he is now in hospital with a ruptured spleen.

I never read those warnings GS

and to add to that he has concussion, has lost his memory, and managed to get a broken arm in the bargain.

he is now in intensive care, with a broken back, and has admitted that his injuries came from him hitting the deck and a sprinkler head being commissioned at the same time, hitting his back and spraying water in his eyes.

After seeing the Sports Tonight montage, I actually believe he could get off.

                  RIP

Well he has since died, and won't be able to give evidence at the tribunal!

                  What killed him?

The sight of the saints crumbling in the last quarter, he doesn't have the will to live anymore, and that elusive sprinkler head!

Did anyone listen to 3aw this afternoon (about 12:30pm)? A talk back caller, a doctor, explained why Maguire went down as he did. Where Hall hit him are a lot of nerve endings (Hall being involved with boxing knows exactly where to hit to produce pain). Apparently it's akin to being hit in the ghoulies if you are a guy. OUCH
                    "

barry hall must of put a lot of thought into that hey, they seem to think hall should get more weeks cos of a boxing background, but then comment on how weak he is.!

Hall's fate hinges on medical report
Tribunal won't go easy on Barry Hall
                          Clean slate for Barry Hall
The AFL has ruled any prior record of suspension dates back 36 months, not three years, as specified in AFL Tribunal Reforms 2005.

Under the heading: "How the New System Works", the league says: "A prior record of suspension in the previous three AFL years leads to additions."

Hall was suspended for five matches after Round 15, 2002, for being found guilty of unnecessary facial contact on Port Adelaide's Matthew Primus.

IF Bazza goes, maybe Schauble at CHF...can we bring plugger out of retirement for one game!
Isnt there a rule that you have to play a number of H&A games in the year to be eligible for a Grand Final spot???

Yet he still could get off - I wouldn't be surprised either way.

We simply must assume that he's gone for now and get on with preparation.
Good advice . Assume the Swans dont have Hall -OK it's a set back but not a disaster.
But the Weagles wont have Subiaco. The Coasters need Subi a lot more than the Swans need Barry

Hall still might be there but nothing wil allow the Eagles to play the Grand Final on Subiaco
What's their away record in the last rounds of the comp???
I feel sorry for Barry but, if he was injured there wouldnt be this much furor.

As you say, get on with next weeks game
