Round 1 Tips

Finally a new season gets under way this weekend and we'll have some footy to get stuck into. So it's time to dust off those crystal balls and have a look at the first round of action. With last year's top clubs losing players while clubs that missed out last year looking stronger, this could be the most even and unpredictable season yet.
Remember that for any round you forget to tip, or if you join late, you get the away games as your tips. So tip away.

The first round games will be played on Saturday, the fixtures are:

North Dalton - Wollongong v Balmain (2pm)
Village Green - UNSW-ES v St George (2pm)
Prenter Oval - East Coast Eagles v Campbelltown (2pm)
Henson Park - Wests v Pennant Hills (6:30pm)
North Shore have the bye.

Tippers should be made aware that the East Coast v Campbelltown matches have been transferred to Prenter Oval (formerly Monarch.)

I'll tip Balmain in a travelling upset.They have a few cards tucked up their sleeve(plus a hanky) that no-one seems to know about, will win by 2-3 goals.At Village Green i'll take the Crows by about the same.At Prenter Oval its a big game for Round 1,with the Kangas recruiting strongly as well as East Coast,you could throw a blanket over the pair of them,but Town to start 06 with a bang, by 25-30 pts.Finally at Henson,give me Penno over a depleted Wests-6 goals.
