BOM is forecasting 30 out west for both days this weekend. Bring the fans and ice vests, and leave the long sleeves at home.

Cocky is not a word that can be used for me, but yes, we are shattered to have played so far below our potential in the finals and lost by narrow margins against teams that simply wanted it more than we did - I'd like to think we'll learn from the experience.
We obviously didn't expect to come up against totally different teams to the ones we played during the season; the credit goes to your mob (and the Dogs) for being a big enough club (numbers-wise) and smart enough to be able to make the rules work in your favour.
Good luck to UTS and all the other clubs playing tomorrow - I just hope they are all good, close games to call and not blow outs.
And to be fair, I'll edit the OP.

To the Dogs credit, they had the same list all year, and the choice of certain players from their Div 1 team for their semi final against us, but their coach chose to show faith in his Div 3 players as he had all year.
From the Round 17 Bats-Jets clash at Trumper to the prelim last week, there were only 6 players on the field from the team we played in Round 17, some had played their first game in Div 3 the week before in the 1st Semi Final. All within the by-laws, so no sour grapes, we had our chances to win it, but didn't want it as much as the Bats. I see it as a mark of respect that their squad was strengthened to take us on and beat us, shows we have come a long way, and the kind words from your players to me when i spoke with you after the game, about our team and club as a whole, really lifted our spirits. We have come a long way, and will continue to improve in both on and off field endeavours. Good luck to all teams tomorrow.

Yeah right PK. Unleash like you did after the game. I know it was hard to vent, as the boys left you out on the steps at henson. We are all upset with what UTS had done to us. Don't understand what UTS have achieved when they need to stack a team against us.

BTW, RG's needs to get that disabled ramp up quickly for you don't they? as it will be a long summer on facebook & twitter with no cricket. God help all the regulars
