Tara thanks for your honesty mate it's a tuff job to change a clubs culture and I hope that the excitment of new signings isnt coming off wrong I for one am looking forward for a big year and am working hard at removing the negativity in regards to balmain and hope that the clubs off field hardwork if reflected in a stronger fitter senior and reserves outfit this season cheers

Good post. I wish I was with the new dockers and not the rugby club

It is with deep regret that I feel I have to put the record straight. As most of you know, I was involved in Sydney Football for 20 years most of it as an umpire. I am quite used to criticism and have had to deal with my share over the years. I know Shearer. Pace, Mahatma, Pekay,Oscar,Ash, Big Show and many more of you. I actually phoned Pekay before Xmas to tell him that I was sick and tired of Cheesecake69 impersonating me. I was particularly concerned at the damage that the impersonator was doing to myself and the Balmain Dockers. Unfortunately this has continued recently and I am now taking advice as to my next steps. I want to assure the football bloggers that I do not conduct myself in public or private the way this person has portrayed me. This is clearly a hate campaign conducted by someone who bears a grudge. Mahatma is correct in saying that I have not been near the umpires and have a position in RU. Perhaps this is a great benefit to the umpires! I enjoyed my time in Sydney Football but time was up. I encourage Norris to take appropriate action to stop this person from belittling and embarassing me and by implication people close to me. I am quite capable of doing this myself!Please ignore his/her posts. I probably wont contribute much to Red and White, but I sincerely hope that people are not going to be conned by this person in the future! Best wishes to all for season 2010... even the umpires! As you pointed out in your Pm it was obvious that the join date was someone else. The people on here that are regulars all know that half of whats said on here is toungue in cheek but if some people stretch the boundries by talking dribble than of course theyll cop a bit of a pasting.

Just a quick heads up to BIGSHOW, try to work out who people are before you get too upset at peoples comments or go back a year or so to an old thread titiled whos who i think and most of us are named. As Tara said there has been a fair bit of banter between people from your club and thats where alot of the @@@@ stiring comes from. The proofs in the pudding mate, we were there copping it every thread a couple of years back so take a breath before you type

Pace mate I totally agree with previous years of balmain trumpet blowing being over the top hence the broom going right through the club and new structures being put in place to improve the dockers on and off the field.But when someone poses as a current docker and be littles new staff and the club I believe I have the right to fire up! Mate I'm straight forward and love my Footy and as a team that negative b$&lsh&t can go elsewhere.cheers

I certainly didn't; and from the mod control panel I can confirm that DY who posted last night came from a different IP address to CheeseCake69.
A lot of Cheesecake's postings during last season had me thinking good on him for showing passion for his club but he didn't do himself any favours having a go at the lower divisions. But some of the more recent postings have been truly bizarre.
