I can assure you that there has been no request from the cats to drop down.
If the league forces the drop that is a different story, but if the club gets a choice they will stay in Div 2.
A few changes have gone on around the place and having a fairly young team last season, hopefully things will improve at the cats in the future.Comment

Where are you getting your info re Camden Tara?

However, as Mug Punter stated, if the promotion/relegation is to work and be taken seriously, top team should go up, bottom team down in all grades, with the exception of Prems. A year or two down in D3 with some sustained success could be what your club needs long term.Comment

Yeah like i said Pekay, if the club gets a choice we would like to stay, but we have not got much of an argument to stay as last season was pretty dissapointing for us, so if the league puts us down to div 3 then that would be a fair call.
With a few new commitee members and a change of coach the club is working hard to turn things around.
Is the former blue you mention tara worn the red and white before?Comment

Correct: ECE NEAFL, PD, D1, D3, U18s x 2
3rds was up in the air until a commitment came from a meeting of 20+ 3rds players (plus a bunch that couldn't make it).Comment

Why the need for a commitment for a 3rds (Or 4ths as they will be now) Was there a level of discontent from those 'social' footballers?Comment

From the perspective of the club entering a team in a semi-pro comp and now having 6 teams, the resources would be stretched. No discontent from either side, simply that the club needed to know the players would be there for a D3 team and that they could be self-sufficient when required.Comment
