Seriously if anyone thinks they do a good job ….
Clubs do their best and I hope footy is good but the top brass I am sure this forum will in 5-10-20 years will be same thing
Been 20 plus years I have been involved in and the common issue is league.
The league divides clubs , only advice is clubs dictate to league grow comp and support our clubs.Comment

Platinum will be interesting. North Shore and Sydney Uni have had very strong third grade teams, but this will be a tougher test for them. Will be fascinating to see how the Prems third grade teams go against the stand-alone Platinum clubs.
And for anyone in Platinum with ambitions to go into Prems, this tests them out as well. They'd need to lap third-grade teams if they want to get a crack against their seniors.

It doesn't look good does it? Will be a top tier team in Prems but forfeits and losses without registering a score will not help retention of players in the lower grades. Moving up to Platinum doesn't look like the right choice, albeit only 1 round in. Hopefully they get it sorted out but you do wonder what the cause of it must be?Comment

I do wonder with UNSW whether focussing mostly on winning men’s Prems at the expense of lower grades and women is starting to catch up with them. They continually bring in paid senior players from outside their club to play Prems which would be frustrating for any lower grade player or u19 hoping to play Prems. They have the 2nd highest rego cost in Prems so as a lower grade player it would piss me off paying so much $ to allow 24 players to fly to Adelaide for a pre-season game that I am not able to play. Plus I hear of other instances where Prems get the red carpet and women and lower grades get treated as second class citizens. They even do separate mad Monday events I’m told. So most are lacking any sense of being part of a club. In those circumstances I reckon it would be easy to leave and do something else.It doesn't look good does it? Can’t remember this ever happening but both Power women’s teams registered a score of 0.0.0 over the weekend.Comment

In all 3 games in Womens Div 3, the losing team was held to a score of zero. Not particularly healthy for that comp.
