Updating the tipping ladder at the half-way point:
Coastal Boy - 29 (3 last round)
Monty Burns - 28 (3)
Strawberry - 27 (3)
Norris Lurker - 26 (2)
Oscar - 25 (1)
Shearer - 24 (3)
Johno64 - 24 (2)
Mightyswans2005 - 24 (3)

This week's matches:
Saturday:
UNSW-ES v St George (Village Green)
Sunday:
North Shore v Pennant Hills (Gore Hill)
Balmain v East Coast Eagles (Drummoyne)
Wollongong v Wests (North Dalton)
My tips:
UNSW-ES
North Shore (don't ask me why, just a hunch)
East Coast Eagles
Wests
It'll be interesting to see how the events of the last week will affect St George - often after a coach goes the team rallies and can cause an upset win. I'll be heading out to the Village Green on Saturday to have a look at that one - I'll stick with UNSW-ES, who I gave the kiss of death to in my column; but I'd give St George a chance here.
