Tigers over the Gong, good luck to the former Jets boys, and 2 goals and a best to Bee Cee last week, well done champ.i reckon this could be the closest game of the year,Coast by less than a kick,Penno in a canter over Saints, and give me Town in an upset over the Robins.finally, sunday sees 1st vs 2nd in 2nd Division as NorWest Jets travel to historic Trumper Park to take on 2nd placed UTS..Jets by a couple in a tough game.

Not likely, as it turns out! Not even the enthusiastically over-sprinklered ground could stop the Jetters piling on about 20 goals to 3.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Winners were Balmain, North Shore, Wests and Penno.
The East Coast v Wests game was a beauty - high-scoring shootout, only a kick in it at the last change before Wests got a run-on in the last. Great standard of play and very enjoyable to watch. Plus a good game needs a great mark, and Ben Physick took one of the best I've ever seen at this level early in the last quarter.

was good to see you down there for the game Des,and you're not wrong,we got there at 10 to 8am,and the sprinklers were going gangbusters!!a further walk to the middle of the ground justified their use-ROCK HARD CENTRE the water did very little, and they were a HUGE side,so whether it was a ploy to slow us down,i dont know-either way it didnt work!sorry i didnt get over for a chat though...

Yeah, that goalsquare you were defending in the first quarter was a bit like a swamp wasn't it?

I've been a bit slack going out to Bensons Lane, but hopefully should be able to get out there for another look in the finals. You blokes are a chance to scrape in, right?

                        Code:
                        POS TEAM P W L D B FF For Ag PC Pts
                        1 NOR-WEST JETS 15 15 0 0 0 0 1649 361 456.79 60
Which is a far cry from the ladder from the Jets Magoos from May of 2003 (which I had in my blog at the time for some reason)..

                        Played 5, Won 0, Lost 5, Drawn 0, Pts For 15, Pts Against 886, 1.69%, 0 pts.
