I taught him all he knows actually.

Davis played HBF/Wing for Collingwood in 2001. I'd just play him there until Tadhg gets back and see how he goes, extra string and all that.

      My team would be

      B: Crouch Barry C Bolton
      HB: Richards LRT Williams
      C: Goodes Buchanan Ablett
      HF: ROK Hall Fosdike
      F: Schneider O'Loughlin Davis

      R: Jolly Kirk J Bolton

      I/C: Doyle, Vogels, Malceski, Mathews

Dempster is not playing according to yesterday's paper so I would suggest Vogels in. Tall versatility can't hurt. And considering that I have Williams, Fosdike and Davis not named in the midfield there are plenty of options to go through the middle so no need for Moore or McVeigh this week. Roos seems to be intent on picking Chambers over Doyle. C'est la vie and good luck to him.

Does he have nickname yet. He'll need one if he gets a guernsey.

TORTURE Chambers? Or maybe considering he is an unknown quantity....SECRET Chambers

Why would you put Crouch on the bench?
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

            Match up reasons.

I feel that this being Essendon he would be used more as one of the players running though the midfield instead of being used as a small defender marking anyone out of the game. If it were St Kilda and Milne he would start and Vogels drops to the bench.

Anyway its not like being named on the bench means anything anymore with the Swans, we rotate like hell and he would ride the pine at some point of the match anyway. Also take into account his lack of match fitness due to only two games in this pre season.

              That's MATTHEW Davis!

              On paper, I think:
              B: Crouch Barry Richards
              HB: C Bolton LRT Mathews
              C: Goodes Ablett Fosdike
              HF: ROK Hall Williams
              F: O'Loughlin Doyle Davis
              R: Jolly Kirk J Bolton

              I/C: Buchanan, Vogels, Malceski, Schneider
              Emerg: Moore, McVeigh, Chambers

On the field, I'd say Monty would start and Doyle will be on the bench.

In reality, after the first bounce:
B: Crouch Barry Richards C Bolton LRT Mathews Williams Ablett Fosdike
C: Jolly Kirk J Bolton Goodes ROK
              HF: Hall
              F: O'Loughlin Doyle Davis

              I/C: Buchanan, Vogels, Malceski, Schneider

              Ha ha ha. Ha. Ha.
