No my point is the Umps didn't miss. He saw it enough to warn Slattery so if I saw him punch him in the face, why wasn't it reversed or reported there and then.

Evidently he has accepted a reprimand for striking, but like you I agree, don't talk to the guy, report him and reverse the decision, he won't do it again in a hurry.

Highlighted on Fox Footy tonight. and even Humphries-Smith agreed we were screwed.

        1. Lloyd diving no free kick (x2) one on OTC one on WLF.
        2. Incorrect 50 against Adam Goodes
        3. Trip and ITB against Pebbles not paid, but HTB was.

D*ckhead HS reckoned that Lloyd and shotgun Williams will really have to earn their free kicks from now on because the umps will be suspicious of them from now on. FFS do the umps have their brains wiped every Christmas.

The maggot stocks must be pretty thin this year because we also heard that there will be no changes to nexts weeks umpires. Thats what I call reward for failure.

It still puzzles me how year after year those p***ks get such a free ride from the maggots when we play them at the dome.

Just from the maggots ? Or the whole "Love Child of the AFL" thing ?

There was a time, not so long ago, when I would turn on my heels at the gates of Princess Park (Optus Oval, whatever) if I had to pay for a ticket even though my membership allows entry - I flatly refused to pay for the "Eliott Stand".

That time has come again with the moronic notion that my membership will allow me entry to all Swans games in Melbourne (plus 3 in Sydney) except when we play "The Scum" at the Dome - I flatly refuse to enrich their coffers

I wasn't there last Saturday - I couldn't bring myself to paying more than $100 for seats that should have been free for 6 members.

            Sucks.

The Dons scored two other goals from incorrect frees in the midfielad as well. In one Buchanan with noprior opportunity was tackled high. He got pinged for holding the ball. Presumably he was paying the "not trying to get rid of it at all even without prior op" part of the rule. But, sheesh, the guy had just had his ose torn off. On the other hand Bucky should never, ever expect a free as he stops playing when he thinks he has been infringed on and only gets the free half the time. he should know to keep playing in that situation.

Another free was paid to Lucas (I think) who went to ground and the tackelr crouched over him putting his hands on the grass so as not to be in the back. GOAL.

Also Ablett was pinged for holding the ball when he took possession in heavy traffic, crouching down, was tackled from behind (technically in the back) but pinged. GOAL (I think).

Not to mention the goal after the siren...there was so much time between the siren and the goal that I had already turned to my neighbour and said "thank God for that"

Not to mention the fact that Hall was mysteriously on his knees 25 metres from his opponent in the goal square.

Mind you from my vantage point it looked a bit suss, I mean when he crouched down he was already 25 metres away and McPhee was just about to get the ball.
