Davo had an ok game. He usually starts the season quite ragged, bit erratic and no rhythm in his kicking.

I would not be too worried about Nick. He loves to star and that game would have delayed something he loves to do, shine in front of an audience.

He'll be back, for that reason alone is good enough for Nick.

If he was fit to an AFL level he would have no trouble covering 2 men. I think every other triple Brownlow winner has done it throughout their entire careers.

Does that include Round 1, 2004 when he had 4 goals to half time?

Slattery received a 93.75-point penalty for striking Sydney opponent Jude Bolton.

Reduced for accepting the MPR ruling.

Soft tissue injury from memory. They don't seem to get much sympathy these days. Think they believe they're preventable in this age of advanced medicine.

Certainly started well - it was Sydney 8.7 leading Brisbane 5.6 at half time. Then Davo got himself injured (snapping a goal from memory) and we went down 80 to 78.
