    Rd 2: Swans vs. Port

Obviously the festivities and guessing the crowd is what is really important, but since they already have threads I'll go with- does anyone have thoughts on the actual game?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

    Oh, yeah, umm, we'll win.

This forum truly displays the type of knowledgable footy discussion that instantly destroys any insults opposing teams fans can make about us!

          I think Swans by 30 or more. The things I am particuarly keen to see today are;
          1. How the SCG plays with the new "speed up" rules
          2. If LRT plays and holds down CHB (no Tredrea)
          3. If Barry lines up at FB or HBF/BP
          4. If Davis spends more time in the midfield than the forward line (as with the last game)
          5. If our midfield in general can lift their game a bit from last week
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

                Crap start!

Roos desperately needs to talk to the umpires - I have watched most games this year and our backmen are being treated quite differently to most others.

Ordinary delivery into forward line. Free kicks in front of their goal not helping.

They are also dominating clearances, which are vital on SCG.

Some silky play results in a mark and goal to Buchanan - nice long kick from NOG

14 points down at 1/4 time.
Port played well, excellent passing, won alot of clearances and put backline under pressure.
Hall hasnt touched it, hasnt been able to get on the lead.
Many times we have been caught with the ball...maybe not much talk going on.
Lade dominating ruck and around ground.
Looks like they may have relaxed a little after kicking opening two goals, but Port defintely outplayed swannies for most of the quarter.

This is @@@@. I can't believe it's only fourteen points.

Double teaming Hall has killed us.

O'Keefe and Davis being in the midfield has left only Hall and O'Loughlin down there with who??
