How quick we turn on our own.

For Christs sake, you sound like a bunch of Richmond or Collingwood supporters.

We were ****, they got the usual helping hand (although it probably wouldn't have changed the result), and they played pretty damn well.

As I heard one fellow supporter say leaving the ground yesterday, let them have their moment in the sun.

    PS. Get a kick Chambers!

MOD EDIT: Do not avoid the wear Filter.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.

You see. What you just wrote then is what is wrong with the current sydney starting 22.... You are living in the past! Get over yourselves boys.
An instrument with only 9 notes! Surely it's easy to play?

So you'd drop a guy that has played 150 games in a row and has been exceptionally consistant over that period because of two bad games after a shortened pre-season..... Get off the grass!!

I'm thinking of getting on it. Sitting there thinking "Oh wow, this is so pretty . . with all the colour and action . . . and things . . ." would be better than watching Sunday's cold reality while straight.

He played the reserves match before as well.

Couldnt agree more - excellent post.

And when it comes to Spriggs dont even go there, he would be the only player in the AFL to score 0 both times on "Lous Handball competition" on channel 9.

One observation about the team from Sunday that I hadn't seen in one of our teams before.
Lade was pushing players around on the forward line bumping and throwing his weight around ALL our players ignored him no one flying the flag and it looked so weak.
Especially when Willo came back to help out at one stage and Cornes and Lade ganged up up on him and he looked around for some help and everyone was looking the other way.
So much for the Bloods spirit in 2006.

Lade bump and throw weight around = play on.

Leo Barry bump and throw weight around = free kick.

My Team for this week - we dont seem to have many options to bring in but I would like to see a couple of changes.

I would like to see Vogels come into the side to play in defense and add a little more "size" to the team, Vogels in for Mathews.

I dont like seeing Richards in a KP prefer to see him on a flank or a wing - just because he some height doesnt make him a KPP (i.e. Saddington)

I would also like to see Malceski come in for Schneider

                          Crouch...... Vogels.... C. Bolton
                          Barry........ LRT........ Dempster
                          Fosdike.... Buch...... Davis
                          O keefe.... Hall....... J.Bolton
                          Williams.... Magic.... Richards

                          Jolly.... Goodes.... Kirk

Chambers(until Doyle is fit).... Ablett..... Malceski.....McVeigh

I think Williams needs to play the small forward role given his current fitness so I dont see any value in having Schneider in the Team.

I think we lack size and presence at the centre bounce so for me Goodes needs to be at the centre bounces.

Fosdike needs to be in the starting 18 and is better value around the ground than Ablett.

Looks like we are lacking size and rebound in defence so Leo can give us some rebound. Leo at HB to rebound and to assist LRT.

Vogels has some size and looked ok the couple of games he played in defence, with Bolts alongside to assist.

Crouch looks to be a little under done so let him work his way to fitness may be able to offer rebound from defence.

Dempster showed he can run and has good skills must be in starting 18 on HBF

Davis is good when he gets the ball, so get him closer to the action - a wing lets him get to the ball and drift occasionly into attack.

J Bolton HF keep the ball in the fwds and reduce the other teams rebound - + Midfield rotation.

Richards - let Richards roam up to the centre line, is a hard match up + good mark and a great option next to magic.

Malceski - needs a chance and must grab it, Mathews isnt going to get any better and Schneider isnt as versatile - if Malceski can reproduce reserves form - he is the future of Swans midfield group.

                          Cheers

                            Schneider isnt as versatile

Of course not - hes only being playing across halfback, in the back pocket, as a midfielder and then as a forward - not versatile at all. I think he needs to stay as a forward and Roosy needs to let him settle.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

Yes he has been tried in all the above positions without any success, I agree if he is to stay in the team it needs to be as the small forward.

Like it or not McVeigh is going to be replaced by one of Malceski or Moore, when Mathews should be the one dropped and Chambers might be get replaced by Doyle as the only other change. To be honest as badly as we played on Sunday, Roosy isn't going to start swinging the axe after 3 and half years of not doing so.

Also I believe people should forget about what players did in the finals 6 MONTHS AGO. Yes, it was top quality and it won us a flag, but this is a new season and the form of a season past should NOT have a major bareing on a judgement if form starts to get worrying.
                                Once was, now elsewhere
