Seems that, because Telstra stadium can't look after their grass, the reseves match has been rescheduled. Which is a bugger, because i was looking forward to get to Telstra at about 1/2 past 3 and enjoying 2 games of footy. So a warning to any others that were thinking of doing the same, might as well spend the time in the pub. If anyone knows where/when the fixture will be played, please let us know. Thanks

I think they're more worried about the grass than the reserves.
Shame about the change of venue, I was looking forward to this game.Comment

Didn't we lose some players there in preseason training last year or the year before? The SCG was unavailable so they were falling down rabbit holes at Lakeside? Imagine if one of the players that may step up - Spriggs, Willoughby etc was injured tomorrow. (Or if any of the seniors are injured on loose turf at Telstra.)Comment

Lakeside actually looks in pretty good condition and has been for a couple of years now"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

Might have a look at the game before I head to Telstra. Wonder if your allowed on the field during the breaks. Be interesting to listen in on the 1/4 time address...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style.
