I wear the trousers in this house, so I might ask if it is okay if I possibly go to watch the reserves if I promise to come straight back before heading out to Homebush.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I though Bob Jane Stadium was where the Lakeside oval used to be....oops sorry, that was the Lake Oval.

Wow this is an interesting result - looks like they mixed players from both teams together, or at least gave some players to Weston Creek.
The winning streak is over ! (is this result official?)

I'd say it is either a @@@@@@ up report, or WC forfeited and they played a scratch match. I was sitting near the WC boys and nearly asked them how they went. Wish I did now.

What the hell is going on when we have our reserves getting ready for/vying for spots in the seniors and they are playing in a competition where teams forfeit and they have to play scratch matches?

Whoa, it could have been a @@@@@@ up report Stell.

@@@@ that! @@@@ that to @@@@ery @@@@ hell! I say AFL Canberra is a below standard league full of butchers, bakers and candlestick makers and the administration of the clubs AND the competition have a lot to answer for. If one of Willoughby, Schmidt or Spriggs was not able to earn a call up for next week I will be heading down to Weston Creek to kick some @@@@ing bush league arse!

Or they might have @@@@@@ up the report. Or the Weston Creek lads might have turned up, looked at where they were supposed to be playing and said "You're @@@@ing kidding me, aren't you?".

So Weston Creek were short numbers?

There's a post over on the Sydney board on BF from someone whose brother plays for Weston Creek. Apparently this brother played for the Swans yesterday!

Sounds like they mixed and matched the teams.

I reckon they probably @@@@ing were. The @@@@ers have been having trouble fielding a @@@@ing side for a @@@@ing while now. Having had the game moved from Telstra @@@@ing Stadium to Lake-@@@@ing-side because the @@@@ing Rolling @@@@ing Stones @@@@@@ the @@@@ing grass I can imagine players not wanting to @@@@ing bother to come up and play. Why leave the AC @@@@ing T to play on a two bit @@@@ing dump of a ground? You'll find no grass problems in the ACT - in terms of quality, quantity or availiability. So @@@@ off.

I am going to @@@@ing well come around to your @@@@ing house, you @@@@ing @@@@ty @@@@er, and inspect your @@@@ing grass.
