I thought Williams was very good.

McVeigh yet again showed nothing to suggest he will do okay.

Too many attempts to play the man and not the ball. Too easily thrown off his game by a bit of push and shove for someone of his experience.

Yep. I thought Willo was fantastic. It was also Magics best game of the year. Chambers showed he may yet be useful.

I can laugh now but how bad was LRT shepharding through a Geelong goal.

Thats what confidence can do. We seemed more confident in going forward tonight. It.s a shame they didn't kick straight and win by the margin that represented the difference between tthe 2 sides.

Lobster boy has it right - the BLOODS are back!

Thought Mcveigh did very well. He's earned another week IMO!

I didn't think McVeigh was that bad tonight.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Haven't seen the game yet, but just looking at the score line tells me all I need to know. A winning score and we're still not kicking accurately for goal.

This has cost us at least one game this season, and could have been costly tonight even though we had 10 more scoring shots.

As mentioned earlier, it seems Roosy has the forwards leading to the pockets rather than the hot spot. As I think about it I think this has been the team's strategy for some time now.

                      Telstra has NO asmosphere.

However, we were very very good tonight!

I reckon you could squeeze a vote in for Jude Bolton...he absolutely smashed em out of the midfield in the third quarter!

Hey, was anyone sitting near that mark that Ottens took?? I reckon the bloke is an absolutely useless, overrated piece of garbage but that mark looked like a ripper on TV...anyone see it up close...looked like he was hanging in the air for the best part of 5 minutes!!!
                            Go you mighty BLOODBOYS!

You reckon? I find it infinitely superior to that of the SCG. At the SCG it is necessary to get the O'Reolly going to get everyone into it. At Homebush with Swans members behind me, there is a real real echo effect when we are getting the cheers going with my drum.

Still, there are far more important things than stadium acoustics right now. It was by far our most convincing performance of the year. Kennelly & Williams' return was much needed; our forays forward were lightning quick out of defence. None of the hesitant "Um where will I kick it to now?" stuff we saw again Port Carlton & Melbourne.

I still feel there is more improvement in us. O'Laughlin can kick better, Kirk was still a lot quieter than normal & can lift, Malcevski will take time to get confidence as an AFL fotballer, Schneider will improve fitness & stamina-wise playing more games in the midfield. LRT can improve. So can Richards.

I'm pleased with the world tonight. Am pretty confident about the Lions game in Brisbane just quietly as well.
