Hmmm. Magic's a choker, Kirky's a shirker, Goodesy can't bend over, Baz can't kick straight since the eye op, Benny's hopeless, NOG's too slow, O'KOOF, Leo's giving away too many frees, LRT is still LRT, we can't win a hit-out...

Disappointed to this day that he was never able to pick out Kenny

Now that is so true. Not just the GF, but also the EF and SF. He kicked in the last quarter of the PF, but that was a very ugly floater.

maybe review the kicking shoe design.
a flattter shoe "top" is better design than a rounder shoe top,
as most shoe are round top, as my jogger shoe is.
second point - often you can see that after the same player kick & the ball goes from left to right direction. the player should take that into consideration.
3rd point - maybe there should computer simulation to account for the wind factor - player determine the angle to kick in the computer. some computer programmer should be hired to produce a sumulation software. the player can be trained often in the simulation & put that in practise on the grounds.

Maybe, and I am aware that this is a little 'outside the square', they should just kick the @@@@ing thing between the @@@@ing sticks.

You mean a bit like Matty Lloyd's indoor grass trick?

Exactly. While I state the obvious if we keep kicking more behinds than goals we will lose close games. Also don't forget the effect this has on percentage. Maybe important at the end of August.
