Telstra because of our record and style of play over there. I live in Drummoyne.

      Telstra, it's closer and bigger

      bigger ground=better running space

      I live in Eastwood.

Telstra simply beause I thought the atmosphere was better and the crowd sounded awesome. It was my first game there and I never thought I would turn on my beloved SCG. In saying that nothing beats sitting in the sun at the SCG on a Sunday arvo watching the footy with a beer.

I live on the North Shore, but travel is much of a muchness. Depends if I want a beer or not and where I'm heading afterwards.

I live in Randwick and love the SCG but have enjoyed all our games at Telstra except for 2003 Prelim final when an idiot lot brought whistles, drums and cow bells, tonelessly bashing them all night and causing me industrial deafness.

I believe Hall plays better there and I'm sure his record would indicate that.

I enjoy the crowd factor at the scg more and believe that we have a greater advantage over opposition teams there but with more teams adopting a man-on-man style of play some of that advantage has been eroded.

Would hate to see more games disappear from SCG but it could be better for the team and footbal generally given that it certainly engages a greater population base.

I live in Goulburn. It's very easy for me to catch the train and get off at Central and just walk to the SCG. I really like the Sunday games.

                I am liking both equally.

The SCG has a special feel to it and you feel part of the game, nice and close.

Telstra Stadium has a better view of the game(but you can still feel distant),suits our game better and the facilities are 2nd to none!

I voted for the SCG,only because its better for me to get too as i live in the Bondi Junction. Also, because its in a much nicer part of Sydney(the Eastern Suburbs),Homebush Bay is a hole.

However,i am more than happy to cross Anzac Pde(unlike some!) and go out to Telstra Stadium. It has really grown on me as an AFL venue. It sill sucks watching a NRL premiership game out there though.
Well done Craig Bolton for getting the co- captaincy in 2008.

Your determination, your tenacity and your under-rated skill is why you have become my favourite player!

SCG - I live in St Peters, if I walk (kid free for the day/nite) approx 40-50 minutes and three beers and usually a stop at a nearby pub, I do like the Shakespeare Hotel.

If I am with the family quick train to Central and a 20 minute walk from the station.

Either way after game function at the Noble and then home (methods of arrival in reverse).

Also I do prefer the atmosphere 30000 people at the SCG sounds louder than 60000 at Olympic Stadium

Telstra is good when it is raining, coz it has a roof.

                    SCG is way too far.

Hmm, from my experience I actually completely disagree re the atmosphere. But my viewpoint on things is highly subjective, as I hate having the area I sit in at the SCG so detached from the rest of the GA seating behind us.

The pub thing at Homebush is an issue. At the SCG you can go out somewhere after the game; at Homebush you can battle the queues (and bouncers) at the Brewery, or have to hottail it back into town again. Olympic Park as a place is sterile at the best of times; at the worst it is an eirey ghosttown where all you are left with is memories of the Olympics, as a cold wind gets whipped up from the river.

I personally had to lug all the big flags out to Homebush myself on Saturday. Getting em home from the Cross after the match meant a cab right in any case. We really struggle getting stuff like banner poles & flags out there as it is, hence floggers are left back at the SCG.

I find the SCG is just inadequate as a facility in pretty every aspect; at least on the hill. The toilets out the back across from the Churchill Stand are not only antiquated; even the fellas have to queue to take a leak. The food outlets are a horror; your average waut is 10-15 minutes (even longer at half time).

The ground limits the amount of spectators who will turn up. I was musing with Beaussie that we'd not have broken 30000 had we played at the SCG last Saturday night. People in our growth areas (the west & south) may well just give up attending, especially given the notorious Lachlan-Cleveland St traffic snarls & $16 parking.

                          Yeah I agree with Scott!
Telstra is much closer to Geelong.
Lots of people asked me if I went to the game, "No, it was in Sydney", "Oh but wasn't it at Telstra?"

I love both. Each have their pros and cons.

I live in Meadowbank (opposite side of the river from Homebush.) Telstra is better in terms of access for the majority of Sydneysiders with great public transport and plenty of parking. Telstra is great with a huge crowd (50,000+), plus I have great seats (Aisle 107)! Ihope we don't have another day game out there. It seems to have a better atmosphere at night.
The SCG is also very special. It is very intimate and great when the Sydney chant starts up. The downside is inadequte facilities, with limited turnstile entries, very bad parking, limited public transport and the crush at the end of the match!!
