Yes, I thought so. Hopefully he has a better season next year as this one was very forgettable! Based on his form and injuries he may be good value in our ressies but I can’t see him in our best 23.Comment

Voss says Curnow is going nowhere. But of course journos will still hang on to the theory he is still coming to us.Comment

I'd prefer we made a KPD splash rather than load up our list cloggers
We got 14 games out of Hamling in 2 yrs after he played 6 games in his last 3yrs at Freo. 20 games of AFL in 5yrs
Ridley has played more than 20 games, twice in 8yrs. Last thing we need to expand on is our injury list
May as well throw a kid in and see what he can do👍 2Comment

It's the media who keep speculating we'd have to offer Gulden to satisfy Carlton to get Curnow. No basis whatsoever.
Same with GC surrending Ben King and first round.
Geelong Shannon Neal and first round.
These 3 were thrown up last night on one of the footy shows.
Caro did mention Curnow had spoken with Cox and reckons his desperate to leave Carlton, citing his differences with Voss.
This is different to Plugger, Hall and Buddy who were all coming out of contract as FA's effectively, which didn't cost us big in trade. Curnow not worth selling up the farm to get, particularly when i consider KPF is not our greatest need.
Ciurnow has 4 years left remaining on his contract. Can understand Carlton wanting overs for him to get them interested, we'd be the same in that situation.
Players can't have it both ways who sign long lucrative contracts then want out if it doesn't go their way. That"s the risk that comes with commiting for long term.
Becoming concerned with trend players wanting out whilst under big multi year contracts. If so, clubs should then have the right to trade such contracted players without their consent to even up the ledger.
Would like to see clubs hold players to their contracts more often, otherwise players will keep thinking they can have it both ways.Comment

Curnow is absolutely not worth paying overs for. He’s not a FA, he’s contracted, but the rumour mill that is football “journalism” will just continue to spout all manner of drivel until trade period is over. Not just about Curnow and Sydney, either, as we all know.Comment

Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.Comment

Gulden is not being traded. Anywhere. For anyone. If this season showed us only one thing, it's that he is clearly our single most important player. We are noticeably and consistently worse overall when he doesn't play.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest formComment

Mclean or Ladhams and Hannily should be the only ones on the table for Curnow plus picks
If that doesn't do then walk away, all these other clubs are getting better thru free agency, not trading away core players and disrupting the teamComment
