Fairly uninspiring quarter. What with the very strong wind, a bit of rain and perhaps some overconfidence. I liked Green in the middle and he now seems to be a reliable set shot. Adams has got plenty of clearances. Mitchell, Bice and Roberts have been useful rebounding.

The team for our final VFL match of the year. Which is against Geelong and takes place at 11.35am on Sunday at Tramway. The side might be reasonably confident, after three wins in a row, but Geelong are almost injury free and have a strong advantage in AFL listed players. Ladhams being promoted and Shipley being out injured doesn't help. Plus we seem a bit light on for talls. Academy prospect, Chamberlain, gets another chance to impress. As does overage academy player, Andreacchio, who was flying in the Talent League, before picking up an injury.

Forget to mention that Snell is also injured. So I'm not sure if we have a genuine key defender?Comment

Looks like the umpires have decided that the huge advantage in AFL listed players isn't enough for Geelong and that they need some extra assistance, with an 11-4 free kick count at quarter time.Comment

Yes - it does feel that way! The extra height Geelong have all over the ground is helping as well.Comment
