Weather is fine, with a light breeze, but with a higher than normal temperature of 29°. Francis is our sub. Which I quite like. Not that I have anything against him, it's just that I don't think that the other likely candidates of Cleary, Corey and Hanily, deserved to be demoted.

It's hard to get too confident, when late last year, Port inflicted one our worst defeats of the modern era, and with our patchy form of this year. But we are strong favourites. Possibly because we beat them the finals, possibly because apart from Port's recent win against Hawthorn, their form has been mediocre.

Yes, and I'm down on the tackling, as well. I think every Port goal scoring move, could have been snuffed out if we had stuck a tackle. Some of the attempts were like a well oiled turnstile.

Our delivery up forward is terrible and our tackling is not much better. I hope they can turn it around or it my be a long day.
