There is no doubt our best attacking football is wildly good. Can we do it for enough time against good teams and defend well enough against good teams will be the questions to answer. I like what we are seeing from Serong - would not surprise me if he settles in the back 6 pretty quickly, and we find someone pushed out (probably Ramps).

Yes I think Serong is a great pick up and Rosas looks pretty good too. And agree with your questions...I guess it's wait and see...

I have no idea how to interpret that bi-polar performance. Woeful in the first half, but when the switch flicked that was wild - especially in the third. Outrageous quality there when we get it right - but we can't play a quarter and a half of footy against good teams.
And well Carlton - who gives a @@@@ about them. Long may they rot in pugatory.
Big call out to Serong - he was terrific. Massive Teddy Richards/Craig Bolton vibes. Reckon he will rapidly be part of our back 6 - was showing real leadership already. Very happy.
Rosas had his moments too - great to have another little forward that will bring pressure.
Gulden reminded us just how majestic and magnificent he is when he gets going. What a footballer when he has time and space.
Next week will be interesting - if we play like the first half at any stage, Brisbane will chew us up and spit it out. But play like the second half and there is no ceiling.
Going to be some hard decisions to be made selection wise when we get our couple of players back. While I think Rampe may continue to continue on, I do have real concerns about Lloyd. If he is going to play further forward, he has to kick goals. Suspect he may well be squeezed out sooner rather than later."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

Warner, Gulden, Blakey unreal
Roberts best game he has played
Sheldrick very good
Like Serong and Rosas
Love the tall fwds
Heeney down and gets 2 and 20
Backs all serviceable, Mills started alot of chains
Jmac Very good, plays very strong
Grundy ok just needs to use his runners more and first option
I'd say Lloyd is holding BCs spot, id be happy to let Cleary have a crack at itComment

Woo hoo. It was like me on the pool table, the drunker I got the better it got.
I loved Serong and Rosas because when things aren’t going your way, you need blokes hold the fort for a while and those two added a lot in the first half. My Hawks friends told me to get excited about Serong, and he was so clean.
Chad - 3 votes. Loved Juzzy as always, Errol responded brilliantly to my sledging, Isaac got belted and just kept going and McCartin was fantastic. I was dubious about Roberts after his back end to last year but he was fantastic, regardless of the two goals. And I thought Amartey attacked the ball well.
And that must have been good coaching by Cox to settle them down at half time. No one knows what was said but I suspect he calmed them down rather than blasted them.
Oh, and screw you Carlton. Enjoy your misery.Comment

Concur about Serong giving off Bolton/Richards vibes. I think he will be a terrific player for us.
I also really enjoyed the games of Roberts and McInerney.Comment
