Its H Mc for amartey can provide at least some support for Brody and more reliable kick for goal and maybe a stronger marker although as i have said before not as spectacular. But what do we want a mark or someone trying to tak a specky. Also maybe Corey W for Lloyd who I feel is also off the pace. Harry C also struggled friday night.

We should revert to our high pressure, more defensive minded game style that was very successful for us in the pat. The turnover game has worked for us before and we should have enough experience and leadership on filed to switch between the 2 styles at the right time. If we want to win a premiership, we will have to learn to do this.

It's been disappointing how little defensive effort and offensive coordination we've been getting from our tall forwards lately. Of course it won't happen, but I would drop Curnow and Amartey for Hamling and Corey Warner for the next game. Both have been good in the reserves.

We are looking down the fun barrel of a big loss unless we change up something. We might as well be proactive.
Good to hear from you Ludwig.

You've raised some good points which others have followed upon.

I just want to add with Kardinia Park being a narrow ground, Chris Scott will able to take the advantage of being able to further strangehold our corridor run and even prevent us going wide. I suspect he will employ a stranglehold team tactic on the Lizard to limit his effectivrness, rather than playing a defensive forward on him.

Cox used the words "adapt" and "mature" when describing on where we need to improve with our game plan in his post match presser.

Some media pundits are questioning whether our forward handball game will hold up in finals.

I take the view it's better to be exposed now and learn, rather than in the finals when it's too late, as we did in the 24 GF.

it will be tough against the Cats this week, but hopefully also pivotal in the long run, even if we don't get the win.

Just a thought but if it is a narrow ground, is there any need to go the corridor?

We normally play well down there.

Coaches votes for the game. It looks like McRae was less impressed with an honourable loss than Clarkson was.

          10 Brodie Grundy (SYD)
          8 Nick Blakey (SYD)
          5 Nick Daicos (COLL)
          4 Isaac Heeney (SYD)
          2 Isaac Quaynor (COLL)
          1 Justin McInerney (SYD)
