I must admit to enjoying Geelong losing to Carlton last week.
Geelong takes time to prepare for quality opponents but slacks off when the opponents are lower on the ladder. Will they take Adelaide seriously enough?"Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi final -
Many RWOers don't understand my hatred of St. Kilda. (I have numerous reasons going back decades!)
While I dislike most Victorian clubs, I can cope with Geelong.
Deja and Thunder, is it the salary sombrero that influences your feelings towards Geelong or is there more to it?Comment

Mainly the fact that they've been claiming for years, that their star players don't get paid much. Apparently they're accepting unders, because they like to live by the seaside, or want to breathe country air, or just want to play for a club in contention. Many RWOers don't understand my hatred of St. Kilda. The Crows got away with a throw or two but, sheesh, the Cats have perfected chucking it instead of handballing. The Bulldogs could learn a thing or two from them!
I don't mind Geelong but happy for them to lose to the Crows - Matthew Nicks was great for us and I like seeing him successful.Comment

When Richie Richardson was playing cricket for the West Indies, he often wore a broad-brimmed hat when fielding. I can remember Australian fans poking good-natured fun at Richie's large hat, including a comically large hat several metres across placed on the grass of the hill at the SCG at one match. Many RWOers don't understand my hatred of St. Kilda. Geelong's spacious salary sombrero reminds me of that enormous hat on the grass. Their ability to fit players within their salary cap seems to know no limits.
