Sounds like someone is acting far too precious. If he's got nothing better to do with his time than ring talkback radio because he's *shock! horror! gasp!* seen someone driving like a hoon!! then he should spend a year or two living in suburbs where that's a daily fact of life. He should do something more useful with his life like volunteer work helping the poor. It would have been appropriate if someone followed up that caller with a few terse comments about what life is really like outside the suburbs with tall brick walls and four wheel drives blocking the leafy streets.

Our guys blow their car horns too loud. Pathetic. I would expect nothing less than a hit run or some ram raiding. How about driving over people's letter boxes (favourite of mine as a lad, in my mate's HR Holden), car surfing (any dirt roads in the district), or possibly the good old throwing beer stubbies out the window at passing trucks (we did that a few times but ended up being chased by a convoy up the western highway one night)

If the person complaining was serious then surely they should have called the club first to complain rather than Ray Hadley on talk back radio. Seems to me that they were looking for any excuse to try to create a talkback radio sensation. My last word... after copping abuse for simply saying don't feel bound to defend bad behaviour...is...OK I now understand that our boys can do no wrong...ever...ever...ever.
That this was not (thankfully) a major problem, & things might have been "beat up" by some press is not the point. I hope the coach & management had a less "who cares" attitude than most of the people who have contributed to this ill conceived thread.Comment
