    That would be my guess...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

That this was not (thankfully) a major problem, & things might have been "beat up" by some press is not the point. I hope the coach & management had a less "who cares" attitude than most of the people who have contributed to this ill conceived thread.
Honking a few car horns is hardly bad behaviour that warrants a call to talkback radio to complain. A call to the club would surely be enough. If you are going to make the type of posts that you have made here beating up this triviality, you should drop being so precious and be prepared to cop some criticism.

If I knew that, it wouldn't be an effective media department.

By commenting on what happened, the Swans media department ensured that the incident would get more coverage than it would have if it had merely been a brief item on a talkback radio show. It isn't damage control, it's taking an opportunity to show that the "bad" in the Swans extends only to honking horns. They're counting on the comparisons to "worse" clubs and teams.

Smart work from Brassel and his crew.

When I get back to Oz in July, I'm going to seek this old codger out and follow him around for a whole day with a horn blowing in his ear!

It must of been an accident during a drag race involving some Sydney Swans players up at Balmoral that I heard about on 2GB

Just don't do it wearing anything that closely resembles Swans gear will you (Or Cardiff gear for that matter ) or you may cause an international incident

A good idea, provided that the horn plays "La Cucaracha"

Blah, blah, blah. Why are we wasting this space for such a trivial discussion?

Everyone knows that. Just play the banjo bit of "cheer cheer" backwards (a challenge with a CD) and you'll hear Baz say "Roos-ey's dead". But, like Paul McCartney, if the new one looks the same and coaches as well, who cares?
